The Story

The Ellis Sweatshirt in Green is cut from a 430gsm organic cotton loopback, giving it a solid weight while remaining easy to wear. It holds its shape, sitting clean without feeling rigid.

The colour comes from a natural earth pigment dye, using mineral-based sources across Europe. The finish feels more settled than new, with slight variation from piece to piece rather than a flat, uniform tone.

It’s a layer designed for the in-between moments early starts, late evenings, or time by the coast when the temperature drops slightly. The weight gives it presence, without making it feel heavy for the season.

Raglan sleeves allow for ease of movement, while a ribbed V insert at the neck references older sportswear. Finished with durable ribbing throughout, it’s built to hold its structure over time.

With wear and washing, the fabric softens and the colour fades back slightly. That change is expected part of how the garment settles in.

This garment is dyed using a natural eco-dyeing process made from mineral-based pigments sourced from areas around Europe. This sustainable dye process has minimal environmental impact with reduced water and energy use compared to synthetic dye processes.

Natural dying results in subtle variations that make each piece unique. Because no synthetic chemicals are used, slight fading from wash and wear is intentional and part of the garment’s character. To care for your garment, wash with similar colours on cold or 30°C using mild detergents without optical bleaches, avoiding contact with light coloured surfaces.
